My mom went through her belongings and came across a watch that belonged to my dad. They forgot about it and probably was kept away for more than 20 years.It runs but the Rado logo seems to be loose and the bracelet has been swapped.
Does anyone have information about this watch? I’m considering of having it serviced.
A friend needed to service his Tag Heuer watch at a premium mall, and he invited me to join him to look at watches after. Before we left the mall, I casually told him to let’s have a look at the Rolex store.
We walked in and got 2nd looks from the sales associates (SAs). I inquired about the Explorer 1, which I had previously listed my interest in at another store 2 months back.
The SA proceeded to let me try on the watch. As I was trying the Explorer, she was examining my BB Pro and asked for my particulars. One thing led to another, and she offered us to have a sit and try on the other watches on exhibition. Next thing I know, she asked if I was really keen on the watch and she told me it was available for immediate purchase. My heart was full, and I knew this was the only opportunity for me to get a Rolex at retail, let alone an AD.
I’m admiring this every day.
