I’ve had this for years and still don’t know what it is…

Does anyone know how the flint is held in place and the general function of this lighter? Any help is appreciated.

I bought this pipe lighter in 1965 as a young man to use for camping. I haven’t seen any in years and was wondering are they collectible?
Any information is appreciated.

This retractable pickle/olive fork has been used in my family since the 1940’s. There’s no manufacturer mark so any information would be appreciated.
