Steering wheel upgrade

When I first got this 65 Nova SS it had an aftermarket small diameter 5 spoke steering wheel. I replaced it with the base model steering wheel from my first 65. Recently at a local car show, a friend of mine gave me this SS steering wheel. The horn center cap I had picked up from a swap meet about 4 years ago finishes it off.

1974 C10 Interior

Here's the interior of the 74 C10 I once had. Based on memory the seat n door panels were grey with (not detailed) the custom deluxe wood grain trim on dash n door panels. Was a column shift automatic, but installed a Hurst ratchet shifter. I used to switch it up between the Hurst T handle and a white 4 speed knob. Here the white 4 speed knob is represented. The trim on the dash i remember taking Testors Enamel Red paint and highlighting the gauge bezels. Looked like the Batmobile lol! One of the first mods was replacing the stock steering wheel with the Grant 3 spoke wheel with black grip.

Odometer reading

Today was the day. Odometer rolled over. Only twice have i witnessed this. In my 74 C10, and now the 64 elco. Still a beautiful sight.

A beautiful morning

Always wanted to take this picture and finally had the perfect opportunity to do it.

After 7 years running the MSD Atomic EFI, I decided to go back to running a 4 barrel carb. The carb chosen this time was QFT 600CFM Slayer. Definitely is a good call 👍! This is the 4th carb to go on the 327 in the 10+ years of owning it. It also resides in my 64 elco.

Morning photo opportunity. It's been 2 weeks since been able to drive her as we went from Atomic EFI to a Quick Fuel Technologies 600CFM Slayer Carburetor.
