Long story short there is a sweet kitty that hangs at my house and she has an owner but is being neglected. I know she has an owner because when she first came around I took her to Cincinnati animal care and they scanned her. She was skin and bones and infested with fleas but she was so nice I figured she was a lot pet. They let me know her owner picked her up and 10 days later she was back at my house still skin and bones. I’ve tried contacting CAC again and they did reach out to loop someone in but it’s been 5 days and I haven’t heard back. I know they are under a code rode so I’m sure they are super overwhelmed.
Today when I fed her she sounded super, super congested. I think it’s reasonable to say she is sick, either with an upper respiratory infection or something else. She needs help and I’m not sure where to take her since I know she has an owner. I also leave for vacation on Wednesday and I’m worried something will happen to her while I’m gone. Is there someone I should contact??
The filter that came with my tank has finally gave up. There are so many types of filters and I’m a little overwhelmed with what would be best for my little guy. I have a 10 gallon tank with silk plants because even in a fish tank I’m somehow unable to keep plants alive lol. I also am unsure if I need to like put some of the old filter in the new one since it has all the good bacteria? I just need some advice. Thanks!
A pretty princess. Would she be considered dilute?
Hi. IBS-D sufferer here. Right now I take cholestyramine (which has literally saved my life, I was in a very dark place before it), but I’ve never traveled overseas before and I am so scared. I’m bringing the cholestyramine in my carry on and checked bag so I have a backup and I’m bringing tons of pepto and Imodium for worst case.
Literally my only fear is shitting my pants on the plane or out and about lol. We are going to Ireland for context. My IBS-D is anxiety induced and also food triggered which can be random. For example sometimes I’m totally fine with red meat but others it has me on the toilet for hours, and for me specifically it causes intense urgency. Like seconds to find a bathroom. (We think I have BAM but I was never officially diagnosed since the cholestyramine works so well for me we just kept with it). I’m looking for any and all tips people can provide to hopefully make this as less stressful as possible and as most prepared as possible. Thank you!
