I am a fully online student, and during our fully online orientation, it was mentioned that a little 0 credit practice course would be added to our Brightspace to get used to the program. Has anyone else not had this appear yet? I’m pretty tech savvy and have taken online courses on different platforms before, so I’m not too stressed about this specifically, but I am starting to feel a little cursed. I still have no financial aid posted, I don’t have this Brightspace course posted, even during the orientation I wasn’t on a list for a breakout room!! So I had to wait to be assigned one while everyone else was popping away. Is all of this just me, or is this a typical experience ??

I submitted my FAFSA and it is reading as “processed on July 9.” Since then I have completed my Master Promissory Note, as well as my Entrance Counseling. I have no tasks listed that need completing. But I still have NO financial aid listed under “accept/reduce/decline financial aid awards,” “view my financial aid,” or “e-pay.” And payment is due in 4 days. I have submitted a ticket to the financial aid office, which I still haven’t received an answer to. Haven’t gotten a call through yet. One of the times I called the phone lines were straight up down.
If someone could just let me know that they also don’t have financial aid posted yet, that would make me feel 1,000x better. To at least know it’s not just me. If someone has even more information than that, even better!! 🫶

I tried to call the Financial Aid Office this morning at (518) 442-3202, which is what’s listed in their website, and received a “this call cannot be completed as dialed” message. (I tried with and without the +1 before the area code and got the same message both times). My phone itself is working fine. Is anyone else having trouble with this? Or have any info on this?

Is there any evidence of the buoyancy of the minions in any of the movies? Are they ever shown either floating or sinking with no external influence (ie; arm floaties / brick tied to leg) ?
