Went to the Great Northern for the 1st time on Saturday to check out Mostly Cloudy where they brought in DJs from Brazil to play. All of the flyers had BADSISTA listed as the most prominent DJ. Got there around 12(2hrs after opening) and i guess they had already played? The rest of the night was fueled by great DJs but I was surprised I wasn’t gonna hear them play around 2am lol that was a first for me, guess it caught me off guard.

I find myself a bit conflicted with the brand. I genuinely enjoy Trevor’s journey in building up Fugazi and have kept up with it. I love the twists they put on hype items of the moment (patterned collar on a work jacket) and the attention to detail to their items. I often check out their lookbooks and want at least two of their items.

With that being said when I’ve actually seen an item in person I feel like it doesn’t live up to my expectations for a brand that’s been around for 4+ years. Loose stitching, not hardy enough for regular wear and odd proportions at times (that Farsi knit had the longest arms that could only fit Luffy).

I’m genuinely curious about whether I’m trippin? I don’t imagine he does these for the fellas. Doing It For Me was probably his best balance between rapping and crooning but I can’t stand when bro tryna sexy talk on the mic.
