If I sell some etfs and bonds just a couple days after I bought them, will that cause any issues?
So i just started investing on Wednesday. I put a plurality of my money in VOO, with the rest young into VXUS, VIOV, MDY, and SGOV. I was told by a couple people that this was suboptimal, and that I should withdraw from all the ones that aren't VOO and VXUS and put the remaining money either more into VOO or into SPY. But I wanted to know, by doing this only a couple days after I bought those shares, will this cause any issues? Would selling so soon cause any tax difficulties or be against any trade rules or am I good?
