Fic reccs for someone new to the ship and shipping in general?

So as the title says, I'm pretty new to the bloodymary ship and the bloodmary community. This also really the first time I've ever actually been invested in a ship before! I don't know why, but shipping has never appealed to me much? I typically like oc x canon or reader x canon? But never a ship ship.

Because of my newness not just to thw ship but the whole concept in general, I have no idea where to start searching for fics and things. Again, I've actually never even read much fic, either. I'm ace, pretty sure I'm aro, so I would love some fic suggestions that are less centered around the romance and the smut, and more about the emotional investment, if that makes any sense at all?

Any and all reccomendations are welcome! I just need more of these two in my life 🥹😭

31 F4A in Southern US, open to online only/long distance

Hi there!

My name is Taylor, I'm 31. I know in the title I put female, but I consider myself to be agender and go by any pronouns.

A little about myself, I have a bachelor's in English and am your typical literature nerd. I'd like to go back and get my master's and, possibly, my PhD and become a professor in English.

Right now I'm teaching middle school ELA and just finished my very first year. It was grueling to say the least. Something I came to realize while I was teaching that contributed to the difficulty of my year was just how isolated I am. Everyone I work with is either much older than me, married, or both.

While I've made a couple friends, I'm craving a deep and emotionally intimate connection. I know, as most asexuals are likely familiar with, a lot of people have told me, "Well, if you're not looking for sex, then you're just looking for friends," but, obviously, I want something deeper than that. I want My Person and, in return, I want to be someone else's Person, you know?

I, of course, love reading, and I'm an avid writer. I love video games, dnd, and movies (more of a movie person than a TV person tbh). If it matters to anyone, I am the epitome of an intp in the Myers-Briggs personality types; yes, I know it's really impossible to pigeonhole a person's entire personality into a singular classification but, if you look up a description of the intp personality type, it literally describes me to a T.

I have an eclectic collection of interests, I don't want to list all of them here. I'm just looking for someone who loves me for me and someone I can love in return.

Looking for one or more partners for a Resident Evil RP

You can call me Ono! I'm 31 with a full-time job and a dog and, surprisingly, a lot of free time as of right now :D

I'm looking for at least one person to rp Resident Evil with. Heavily plot-driven, kind of lore compliant (??) Let me give you the full situation.

So I was originally rp-ing with a partner for about two-ish years? I played mostly as my oc, who has an established lore within the RE canon, and we built a pretty hefty story of our own. My partner (who I'm still friends with) has since decided that they want to pursue their own creative projects on their own, and they no longer have time to rp with me. Totally understandable.

I have a lore for my oc that I would like to carry over to a new rp, and I am willing to play other characters on top of my oc to keep the story going, but I at least need one person to play Leon, as I'm looking for an oc/Leon ship rp? Again, I would like to stay plot/story driven (I have a couple ideas, but I love to soundboard and headcanon with other people, so I'm open to seeing where things go! I'm not committed to just one plot, or sticking to the story I had originaly with my previous partner). I tend to write long responses, but can do quick one or two liners if the scene requires it.

If you need or want more information, please let me know! I'm open to any questions. I'm not sure what other information to include here, so I'm sure there's probably something I missed something!

Thank you so much for your consideration!

Before I make an official post, how do I do this?

I'm still kind of new to reddit and I am very new to this subreddit! I want to make a post for myself, but I didn't see any rules or guidelines about what to add (what does 4F or 4F or mean?)

I feel like there is probably a masterpost I missed because I still don't know how to navigate reddit, but if anyone could point me in the right direction, or give me some pointers, I would really appreciate it!

Also, side note, if I make this post, will I have to wait a week before I can make my actual, like, profile post?
