I’ve found this lens for sale on eBay and it’s piqued my curiosity. It’s engraved “Blitz Improved Portrait f5” but it seemingly has no designated focal length. Anybody recognize this lens? It seems way too small to be a true portrait lens… There’s no brand name on it and my own research attempts to ID it have yielded nothing. Anyone reckon it’s worth buying?
The lens is in excellent condition. Smooth focus, clean dry iris. The glass is clean aside from some minor internal dust and a few very fine scratches on the front element. No fungus or haze. The only flaw is the original owner for some unknown reason felt the need to black out the “Nikkor P” engraving on the barrel and the serial number on the lens hood.
Asking $150 for the lot, $135 without the lens hood. Payment through PayPal G&S with signature upon delivery.
