front-end worker seeks shopper feedback

hello all! :-)
i’m a front-end worker, but i honestly very rarely shop at woolies. so i’m a little removed from the supermarket experience.
i LOVE my job (though i cannot claim to love the company i work for…) and i pride myself on my customer service skills - i had 5 compliments on my bag packing today, not to brag ;).
however, i’m always looking for ways to improve. so i want to know — specific to woolies — what do you guys want from employees, especially on the registers and self-checkouts? what do we do that sucks, and what do we do that’s great? what else can i do to help?
i hope i’m not sounding like a manager doing undercover research, i’m really just interested in making the days of my customers, and making grocery shopping a better experience overall.
thank you!!
