My future wife is not Jewish, and my family tried to pressure her into converting because, according to them, I am destroying a tradition that has existed for generations. She is currently almost 10 weeks pregnant with my child. We got into a huge argument because it really upsets me that, according to them, my child won’t be Jewish, even though he carries my blood. I don’t want my partner to convert just to satisfy their traditions.

I’m thinking about going to a Reform synagogue so that my child can learn to respect his Jewish heritage and know that he is part of the tribe regardless. It just frustrates me that some parts of Judaism are so stuck in such strict and rigid rules that they are basically destroying any chance they have of seeing the child. My partner and I have actually reached the point where we are seriously considering not letting them see the child because we’re afraid they will treat him differently because, in their eyes, he isn’t considered Jewish.

My partner has premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), and I swear sometimes I don’t even recognize if she’s the same person from the beginning of the relationship or someone completely different.

At the start, I was the one who suggested that I’d pay for most things. There hasn’t been a single date where I let her pay. But now that we’re buying furniture for our apartment and splitting the expenses 50/50, she’s suddenly complaining that it doesn’t suit her, and that she wants me to pay more because I’m the man.

Something this small and, honestly, kind of silly turned into a full-blown argument. Now she’s saying it might be a mistake for us to move in together (even though we already signed a one-year lease), and that if I want to have kids with her — something she convinced me to consider because she says she’s not as fertile as she used to be — then she needs to know she can rely on me financially.

The thing is, I already spend money throughout the relationship. This is just the one area where I’m not overextending myself, because I finally allowed myself to trust that I don’t have to constantly provide or “serve” my partner.

She knows I’ve been in abusive relationships in the past where I was taken advantage of financially, and now she’s telling me that I don’t love her the way I loved them, just because I’m not willing to spend money on her like I did back then.

I honestly don’t know whether to take all of this seriously or just wait for it to pass. It’s starting to feel ridiculous.

In short, I want to create my own manga. At first, I had an artist who worked with me for a while. But then, due to the pandemic, he had to retire to take care of his family. So he couldn't continue with such a big project. Since then, I haven't found an artist who can take on such a big project. I even hired someone else and he just disappeared with my money. Without any results. I tried AI and it seems to be going well. I have references from what was created, but unfortunately, my comics contain graphic violence, so CPT chat can't do it.
