Chronic constipation after Exploratory laparotomy

Had my appendix burst on me and had to do an emergency explanatory appendectomy. The surgeon told me he had to cut the abdomen take out all the intestine and wash the abdominal cavity of fecal matter that leaked out. That was 25 years ago. Ever since that surgery I've had severe constipation, low motility, paralysis, GERD, overall taking a long time for my food to digest. I talked to my Co-worker who went through an ovarian cyst removal years ago which apparently involves taking out the intestine. She's been having the same symptoms as me, except much worse. Constipation for days sometimes weeks. She's had friends that went though the same procedure with similar symptoms. Is this a common occurrence? If the intestines are handled in some way, can that disturb normal parastalsis leading to chronic constipation?

Stomach feels bloated all the time.

I've been eating 5 meals a day for several years now. I have 3 solid meals and protein shakes in between. Lately I have noticed slow gastric emptying and wake up with an acidic taste in the throat, constipation and bloating. My stomach feels full when I wake up in the morning, like my dinner sat in my stomach all night. My last meal is about 10pm. I weight train and do cardio 5 days a week. My only source of carbs is rice and veggies since I'm gluten free. Any advice would help. Thanks.

Need help moving to Japan please.

I've wholeheartedly, after many years of deciding, to live in Japan.

I'm a single male, US citizen, living in the US.

My number one choice is Kamakura and consider Zushi as plan b.

I'm planning on purchasing a house, sooner than later due to rising prices.

I can temporarily visit on a visa until I can qualify for residency. (I am ready to jump through any hoops I may face)

What are things I should look out for and can you recommend a reputable real estate company?

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I do not plan on working.

LG UltraFine 5k monitor bricked after firmware update attempt?

Just did a firmware update on my LG UltraFine 5k monitor. The update failed after 30%. Now the monitor does not power on. I can get it to power on if I unplug the power cable and back in. Same thing happens after wake from sleep and reboot. Can it be saved?
