DAE write fanfiction about their partner?

I'm currently working on a fanfic series for Bruce and my self-insert, Vera Vann. Vera is a corporate whistleblower and former Chief Compliance Officer for Green Horizons, an eco-daycare in Seattle that has applied for a $12 million Stark Foundation grant to expand nationwide.

But the daycare is a front for the anti-enhanced hate group, Friends of Humanity. They want the money to be able to track children with enhanced abilities and put them in a database. Vera quit her job a couple of weeks before the events in the first story, and has been gathering information secretly about the company's activities since then. She has it on a thumb drive to give to Tony Stark and Pepper Potts before they release the grant funds. She also has information about ADA and wage and hour violations, discriminatory practices, and tax fraud at the company.

Vera is enhanced herself, which raises the stakes: she has the power to see absolute truth.

The Friends of Humanity are now sending death threats to Vera, and have even gotten as far as an attempted break-in at her apartment building. After Vera saves Pepper Potts' life, Tony Stark is willing to do anything to help her. This is when Vera tells him about the death threats. Tony agrees to assign her a protection detail, and the protection detail is Bruce. The rest of Story 1 in the Insight series is history.

Story 2 will deal with Bruce and Vera's fostering (and eventual adoption!) of a girl in her late teens who's survived a religious cult and various forms of severe abuse. The daughter reclaims her life and identity, and uses her experience to help others deal with trauma.

My engagement ring!

Bruce got me this ring for my birthday! It's a deep purple amethyst. 😍

It's bigger than I'd anticipated it being, but I love it!

My birthday dinner!

It's my birthday today! After a day spent on retail therapy at Sephora and my favorite consignment shop, I went out for Indian food with my sweetie 🥰 We had paneer tikka, veggie butter masala with basmati rice, and a mango lassi.

A long-awaited trip!

Bruce and I took a long-awaited trip yesterday! Here are some photos from the trip. We took a ferry, then a bus (and a book for the long bus ride) to a town on the Olympic Peninsula. We visited a local farmer's market, ate veggie burgers and fries, and browsed a local bookstore. More photos to be posted in the comments!
