Question about naniwa diamond maintenance

Im going to purchase Naniwa DR line stones (400, 1K and 3K grit), will use these to sharpen magnacut and terravantium (dendritic cobalt) knives that i take camping, as well as blue#2 and SLD kitchen knives.

To future proof and take good care of these expensive stones; I plan to get:

  • a safety glass lapping plate, with diamond polishing powder slightly below each grit (300, 800 and 2.5K) for flattening.
  • A CKK rust eraser (medium) for cleaning the stones

Is it even necessary to ever level DR stones if i am sharpening 7 knives every couple of months? If so, is there a better way than how I plan to? Is a rust eraser a good way to clean all 3 of the stones?

UQH pavilion antique zirc

Really like this spinner, the ergonomics are top notch and the antique zirconium finish fits well with the subtle design

My first Chris Reeve knife

So happy with my small Inkosi, I understand why they have such a great reputation now after having one in hand

Small Inkosi ergonomics are fantastic with the pocket clip removed

What a wonderful pocket knife, im very pleased with it. Feels solid and durable.

Was worried that it may be too small from other peoples opinions on it, however the size is just what I was looking for. I prefer a fixed blade for larger knives which i would I take camping, and smaller for folders which are used for miscellaneous daily tasks.

I wear medium/large sized gloves for reference; so can definitely see why someone with very large hands would find it too small, but for average sized hands like mine its great.

My favourite combo

Been swapping this NJT reptillian damasteel button onto some of my spinners to find it a home, settled on the ziii studio bronze dawn mini. Bronze is such a great metal, think it is underrated, and the ergonomics of this combo fit well. Just waiting on a full ceramic bearing to arrive for the spinner to be complete

Is this coated or anodised?

This is a T-city spinner in zirconium, wasn't sure if anodisation could be so vibrant, maybe it must be a coated finish
