Tamayah's Christian rant

Who else felt weird about the end of the babydoll conversation when Tamayah was blaming Sydney for not reading her Bible?? It's interesting that Tamayah's religion is a huge part of her identity, but that was only revealed in the group bonding game when the majority of her fill ins had to do with church. To me it was kind of a whiplash because we went from not hearing anything at all about Christianity to it being revealed that Tamayah is pious in that last 20 mins. I can see now that her "no swearing" policy probably has to do with that, but I was so caught off guard by the pointing fingers by Tamayah framing herself as a "good Christian" and Sydney as a "bad Christian" for not connecting with God. Her explanation of why Syd blew up really flattens the human experience.

Her songs are sung with no emotion

That’s a critique I heard years ago that she doesn’t really sing with passion. And now I hear it with this cover, it’s like night and day.

Will she make it to Sunday in the Park?

Has Ariana been working nonstop since Eternal Sunshine came out? How much time does she have before she reaches her limit? If she already looks like this at this stage, what will she look like at the end of the tour in September? Or when rehearsing for Sunday in the Park, or when Focker in Law comes out in November and she looks completely different on screen because that was filmed Aug-Nov 2025. Tickets sales for Sunday in the Park have been delayed till fall so she can finish the tour, but I don't see how the producers have faith that she'll be in a good state in 2 months (EDIT: They actually don't because they would've just stuck to the original plan of May and not delay it a third time so they do fear that she might be replaced). It's already announced that Sunday in the Park will have a limited run but realistically how can she make it when musical productions demand so much work? And if Ariana can sustain the rehearsals/production, you already know it's going to be a mess. Just like how she had trouble adjusting to the film industry, she'll flail in musical theatre. Just like Wicked, Sunday in the Park is another project she'll obsess and self-sabotage because of her own insecurity and control issues. Queue the random British accent, Bernadette Peters cosplay, rObeRt dEnerO iS mY bEStIE, set drama, ticket refunds, and more.

Edit: Ariana also has voice acting for the Dr. Suess movie directed by Jon Chu but at least she won't be physically seen so the pressure won't be there, but the press for it could be interesting too

Her insecurity stifles her creativity

With Law, her fans are noticing that his work with Zendaya and Ariana are night and day. Ariana always goes back to the same silhouettes. Her era with Mimi was when she was truly stepping outside the box.

Ricky not defending Ariana

Comment found in the LA snark sub about Ariana changing her lyrics. But even Ricky knows he’s dead wrong for getting back together with her 😭

This tour is going to be in the dark as well

Sorry yall for the crops but a discussion of Ariana’s Coachella set came up last month and I wanted to bring it here. This is one big example but a plethora of many where her artistry suffers because she’s so insecure. Her last tour and Coachella set has the worst lighting because she can’t control the angles and would rather prefer the dark. And there is a tasteful way to execute it but it just made her hard to see. These are tweets from fans who even admit that her artistic visions rarely are executed to his fullest capacity.

Get the contacts

Just get them. Figure out how to pay and learn how to place them in your eyes, it’s so worth it! I thought I looked so weird without contacts but it was literally because I never saw my actual face. I’m way more accustomed to my face now that I realized my glasses were kinda holding me back.

I can’t see far and my prescription is really high so the lenses were making my eyes small. And the specific frames I had were way too oversized and distorted the sides of my face. The frames also covered my eyebrows which didn’t help. And I also was self conscious that my wide nose was now front and center without my glasses, but it didn’t matter anyway because most glasses aren’t suitable for my nose that has no bridge. And since my cheeks are not obstructed and my eyes are larger, I can bring focus to that instead of my nose. I still wear my glasses most of the time for work, but if I’m going out I opt for them more because my features pop way more.
