DCT stepper motor cleanup
Everybody was bugging me how the DCT stepper lasts. I was bored in the afternoon and decided to take a look inside after 120.000km although I did not have any issues yet.
Amount of powder already in the housing and visible wear on the rotor. I blew out the dirt and put it back.
This is a Mitsuba AZ12 actually but I was unable to find any parts or the motor itself (non-oem). It used as ABS motor in some other Hondas.
Thus, If the brush wears completely the whole subassy needs to be changed for a huge pile 9f money.
Does anybody have a source for the ring with the brushes?
