Is this a gland issue?

I just noticed this soft mass near the base of my dog’s tail. It is about an inch long and is covered in fur except for the end of it. It is not red or inflamed and there is nothing leaking from it. I’m calling the vet first thing tomorrow morning, but I can’t seem to find anything on the internet that looks like this. Any ideas?

Don’t know what to do

I’m having a hard time and need some support. I have no one to talk to about this.

My ex-AP and I met almost five years ago. He broke it off the first time because of guilt. We briefly reconnected to try again…and he did the same thing! We later decided to just be friends.

The thing is, while we were supposed to be friends, he hardly remembered anything I told him about myself. He would ask me questions that I already answered. I stupidly let this go on for the next four years. I told myself he just has a bad memory, it’s not worth destroying our friendship over

Things came to a head two weeks ago when he came back from a trip to Scandinavia. I told him if he liked that, he should check out Iceland. I was there two years ago and even sent him pictures while I was there. He replied, “When did you go to Iceland? Did you tell me? “ That was the last straw for me and I sent him a message saying I was closing the door on our friendship because him forgetting things about me is a pattern.

He replied and I don’t know what to do. He said: “I understand. Your feelings are valid. I appreciate you communicating your feelings so well. If you want to discuss, I’ll still be here. If you decide that’s not for you anymore, I truly appreciate your friendship and I hope you have so much joy in your life. You deserve good things.”

I never replied back and uninstalled Telegram. But what did that message mean? Was he just being nice by offering to discuss things? I feel like he didn’t really care at all because his next sentence read like “goodbye. Have a nice life”.

Obviously I have self-esteem issues. But now I’m wondering if I overreacted. Should I take him up on his offer to talk about things?
