Completing the TRT over summer 2027

My sister, brother in law and husband want to do the TRT next summer but can’t complete it all at once due to work and life circumstances BUT we want to bite off large chunks over the summer and finish it by fall. We also want to bring our son along for a few days hikes too but he’s 10 and would likely need that to be a lower volume day. I also believe there will be the ability to do a few over nighters that we can manage during that time. We live only an hour away via HWY 50 so travel isn’t an issue at all.

Looking for advice on how to map it out, recommendations on locations that are better for those overnighters, and really any tips on how best to tackle it.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Lonesome Dove

Halfway through and I’m getting a bit misty about it. I’ve read up a bit on Larry McMurty’s concerns that the story didn’t resonate with readers in the way he intended but I disagree; it’s hitting me hard.

My grandmother was half Native American and abused horribly by many people in her youth but she was such a wonderful force of life and loved her family and my cousins and siblings so much despite all the trauma - which is equally heartbreaking. This book is giving me some big feelings I wasn’t quite expecting.

Dexcom Follow issues

Cut to the chase: anyone else experiencing a lot of lag/delay on their Dexcom follow app the last few days? Many times when I open it it’s states no data available but then there’s a lag, and it shows up again after 10 mins. Repeat.

Been happening consistently now for the last week or so, it’s pissing me off.
