Wife and I just picked up our first Goldwing
We used to ride 2 up on my 95 Shadow 1100 until it was stolen recently, but she always complained about the seat being uncomfortable for her anyway. We found this bike, it hadn't run in a few years but was all complete and in otherwise decent shape, so we pulled the trigger. Of course right after we got it, the police located my Shadow, so now I'm getting that back up and running to get it sold as well as bringing the Goldwing back to life.
Anyway, we are now the proud owners of a 1982 Goldwing Interstate. Carb rebuild kit is in the mail, I did get it running on carb cleaner and a full can of Berrymans B12 in the tank. Carbs will be coming off later today, and once it is running on its own we will be tackling the timing belts and other maintenance items.
