Does anyone have an easy-to-understand pool schedule for the fall? With swim lessons and the app I can’t seem to narrow it down and when I call it is hard to get a straight answer before I drive over. From what I can tell on the app there’s no swimming prior to 11:30 am, but that feels so late. Thanks in advance!
Hi all! I have recently transitioned from my day job (active, on my feet) to a full time student and working at a computer/on a laptop all day has been AWFUL for my wrists. Does anyone have an ergonomic laptop setup that they love for wrist support? I have a comfy chair, but I’m also hoping to use my standing desk a bit as my neck and upper back hurts if I sit for too long. Thanks for the input!
Hi! I’m looking for recommendations on local indoor rock climbing groups or gyms! I used to climb as a kid and loved it so I’m trying to spark some of that joy again. I have very little upper body strength at the moment so I am looking for a beginner-friendly group or gym where I can build basic skills and have some fun. Thanks in advance!
I have had an influx of dog sitting requests for people leaving for a week or greater and they only are asking for me to check in on the dog 2x a day to walk/feed them. One even said they leave the dog outside for a prolonged period of time unsupervised. I do not feel comfortable with this and think it is better to have someone house sitting for that long. Is it ok for me to just say I’m unavailable? I have no reason to believe anyone else will be checking in on the dogs other than myself
My 7 year old tabby cat randomly stopped eating last night (we feed wet and hard food, she will eat neither at the moment) and today I noticed she is sitting with her jaw slightly open. I was able to get her to eat a Churu but when she looked like she wanted to eat her lunch but couldn’t, I took her to the emergency vet as I was concerned she might have something lodged in her mouth or some sort of abscess. They did a physical examination and bloodwork. Said her mouth overall looked fine as did the bloodwork. We opted for fluids to prevent dehydration and some anti nausea meds to see if that would help her eat. Since being home she still won’t close her mouth nor eat. Should we bring her back and ask for X-rays? I have no reason to believe she would have hurt her jaw in any way, and from what I can tell there is no blood/swelling.
