I (25 F with OCD) have been on 50 mg Zoloft for 3 weeks and suffering from really bad depression and low energy. My provider is switching me from Zoloft to 25 mg of Fluvoxamine. I havent gone to pick it up yet because after being off of Zoloft for one day I actually had interest in getting out of bed. I have been doing so poorly that I’m really scared to go pick up this new prescription. She chose this one because it has the least incidence of sexual side effects which I had pretty bad with Zoloft so I’m anticipating that still being a thing on the new meds too. I just wonder if my OCD and anxiety is better to deal with than depression

I am on day 5 of Sertraline (50 mg) and experiencing the most insane brain fog / confusion of my life. I almost feel like I don’t have any thought, can’t hear my thoughts or my own voice. I had the typical nausea and headache the first two days and still have those symptoms, but the brain fog is unreal. I sent my doctor a message to see what she thinks because i’m not sure I can continue going to work like this, i’m so out of it and people are noticing. My short term memory is decimated as well, can’t remember what I ate this morning and things like that. I want to keep going as I was really hopeful Sertraline could help with my OCD but I feel almost like I am disassociating and it is a little scary
