What if Cayetano, and the dds block are just going thru the motion/ceremony of the senate impeachment trial? Currently there are 13 senators on the dds/majority block while only 11 on the minority block. To remove swoh would need 2/3 of the senators (16 to vote yes). Kahit na sabihin natin na makasuhan sila jinggoy, chiz, robin, bong go, at magtago sila at di sumipot sa senado, kasama ni bato that's 5 votes na abstain (not yes or no), walang vote at all. Bottom line is sobrang labong makuha yung 16 votes to remove swoh.

As the senate president, cayetano can make or break the impeachment trial in senate. If swoh is removed, he's next in line to be vp. So cayetano can wash his hand and vow to run for presidency and take 'revenge' for the dds.
