Why does it seem like so many guys in this trade have pretty bad financial problems?

Groundman here, but Seriously, what is up with the seemingly outrageous number of guys in the trade that have to work 5 10’s, with no rain outs, plus the optional Saturday, or they’re going to be broke by the next check?

It’s honestly kinda embarrassing to hear about some of the guys who get themselves into a position where they simply cannot miss work, and I’m starting to wonder if literally the entire trade is filled to the brim with broke mother fuckers. Or maybe the ones that are doing alright just drag way more?

Like are we really all just that dense and stupid with money? Or is it just that the 4 kids, the 3 ex wives, the 2 dui lawyers, and the truck payment finally end up adding up?

Idk but I’m enjoying a week of 8’s right now, and kinda feel bad for the guys that aren’t 😎

Why in hell do I need a fender delete kit, to install a fender???

Just bought my first one wheel (XR Classic) and was super stoked to install my shiny blue fender.

Only to find out, that I can’t install my fender, because I didn’t purchase…. A fender delete kit?

I DONT WANNA DELETE THE FENDER I WANT TO INSTALL THE FENDER.

Idk if I’m missing something here, but why are the parts that you need to install a fender, sold in a kit called fender delete kit???

In the same line, I hate that FM called this board the XR classic because it’s damn near impossible to google anything related to this board, since everything that comes up is related to the OG XR 🙄

How much has your RV been “modified” from its original condition?

Just curious to see who out there has done minor (or significant) modifications to their RV, from minor changes (like changing the curtains) to a full renovation, how does your RV differ from how the original manufacturer sent it out the door?

I have a 2020 keystone outback 324CG that I full time with, and have done more than a handful of things too. Everything from removing bunk beds and building shelves, removing theater seats and building a couch, to changing faucets, switches, lights, and outlets. Most recently, I’ve removed the man door to the garage portion, in favor of a simple curtain.

In the 4 years I’ve owned it, it’s quite different from factory and has really become my camper, which got me thinking if I’m the rare exception, or if other long term owners do similar things?

Please share!
