Recently, I saw a lot of Minori haters.

I can't say anything about her voice, because it is just a personal opinion, but I think that Yui Ogura does an awesome job on acting her. Some characters have a big difference in their talking and singing voice, but Minori sounds completely same, as if she is a real person! Also, just listen to her Kuu ni naru alt, it is awesome, and despite myself liking Shizuku's voice a lot, I think Minori is better in this one. This song shows her wide range. In the verse, her voice goes pretty low, and her clean falsetto makes the chorus high-pitched but completely pleasant to listen to. I recently like the song Lonely Universe, and the fact that she can reach C#6 makes her an incredible vocalist (This is as high as Otome Kaibou, The Night Sky Patrol of Tomorrow). Not only her range, she demonstrates her capability of a talented singer through her fast paced songs, like Milk Crown on Sonnetica, which is often discussed as her best alt. Her voice is very stable no matter the pitch, so there are no reasons comparing her to Kohane and Emu, which are still high-pitched, but has completely different vocal styles. Calling her strained does not make sense to me at all. People said "open your throat and sing from your chest." My take is: Why do you care, fancy choir student? Her character is supposed to be an idol, I think it is perfectly fine to singing that way. By the way, she is not an opera singer, she is a cute stage performer!

The next point I hate what people say about her is that she is so obsessed with Haruka. I forgot what story was that, she went to Phoenix Wonderland with Kohane, not Haruka. Minori responded to Kohane that because Kohane is her first friend, she told her to go together. She truly appreciates her friends, and doesn't waste them when she sees her favorite idol. Have you read STEP by STEP? In that story, you can feel the true friendship of Minori with class 1-A and other people like Ichika and Saki. The card above is a Mino6 card, and someone was mad because everyone else was with animals, while Minori was holding Haruka merch...? I don't care because 1. It's cute. 2. It's a good card edit material. 3. Humans are animals. She does not stalk Haruka, she doesn't devote her life to Haruka. In fact, she did not give up her dreams when Haruka quit being an idol, in the main story. An when Haruka retires, Minori does not ask her why did she quit, which means that she is not obsessed in any ways and respects Haruka's feelings. Speaking of main story, everyone should read the MMJ main story because it is the best and no one will mischaracterize Minori anymore.

People say her story is boring, "no angst." In contrary, I think her existence just shows that you don't need angst to make a perfect character development. Instead of adding horrible angst to their character arc (Shiraishi An), or giving no backstory at all (Kohane), Minori is the best example of making a good character without adding anything sad and disastrous. In Dear Me, From Back Then, her backstory is clearly shown. At first, she was insecure, but after having a friend named Chihiro and seeing Haruka on the TV, she gained hope and made the ultimate goal of being an idol. Her story is not just "failing auditions 50 million times." I can't explain every part of it, but one thing I can say is that mino3 is the best Minori story, even better than Hear Me! Hopeful Show. Her Ena parallel is also great, and I love a theory where Airi is parallel to Enadad (I forgot his name), and Minori had someone like Haruka, while Ena did not.

This part is just for Minori appreciation, but her character design is so good. Despite not being the "anime-logic" haired girl, she is so pretty! I love her eyes as much as I love Mafuyu's. If I like Mafuyu's eyes because of the purple-blue color, Minori's monochrome eye color is really good at reflecting lights, like eyes in the card above is blue. (No more more Honami confusion) I love her haircut for no reason, maybe it's the braid and my love for Ena's hair. Her limited hairs are so beautiful, especially the colorfes. She has immaculate sense of fashion (not as good as Mizuena), just look at her post-third anniversary casual outfit.

TLDR: Dear Minori haters, I don't like your opinion, and she is the best character.
