Running Spots Nearby

Just moved to Wallasey (near Ruskin Avenue). I'm looking for safe running spots or trails around the area for morning or late afternoon runs. I usually prefer tarmac and run around 5-10k. Any recommendations?

Business Portal API

Any tech gurus here know whether there is an open-source API to get data from the Business Portal. If not, how realistic is it to write a program that scrapes it in regular intervals?

Please assume I have 0 knowledge in web stuff 😭

Disability Accomodations for Exams

I'm looking to get some perspective from recent O Level and A Level grads on this issue.

https://www.the74million.org/article/wealthy-students-more-likely-to-get-disability-accommodations-study-finds/

Recent (-ish) studies in the US show that students from wealthier families are way more likely to get disability accommodations, like extra time on exams. This is kinda counter intuitive bc practically speaking, you'd expect conditions like anxiety, ADHD, or PTSD to be more common in less affluent families for a whole host of reasons.

https://www.wsj.com/articles/many-more-students-especially-the-affluent-get-extra-time-to-take-the-sat-11558450347

For context, normally, you'd expect less than 1 in 20 students to actually need these special arrangements. But the WSJ found that in some of the wealthiest school districts, 1 in 5 students are using them.

Anyway, I've heard from friends and family that a similar thing might be happening here too. Apparently, some tuition teachers are even actively pushing students to opt in and get that extra time in more "morally flexible" ways, effectively gaming the system.

For those of you who recently sat for your O Levels or A Levels: Have you noticed this happening irl among your peers? Do you feel these arrangements are provided in a fair manner?
