I was shooting a buddies KSG and it was almost impossible to rack once loaded. I would have to smack the forward grip to get it to cycle back almost every time. I took it home and checked it out. Is this part (the hammer bar I think it is) bent? It's not supposed to look like that is it?
Would you say that's the root cause of the hard action?
Like the title states. I’m looking to purchase a loaded chamber indicator of a CA version DY9. I know some of us have removed them, so if you don’t need it I’d be happy to purchase it.

Using a 6 inch drill bit worked! And then the drill bit snapped. (The photo shows the now broken drill bit. The other part belongs to the wall.)

I tried pre-drilling and even saw somewhere I should use grease. First I used an impact gun, broke. Then I used a ratchet, broke. They both broke where the threads and the smooth section meet. They’re 1/4” x 5” bolts. Both times the bolts broke before ether bottomed out. The broken ones are mangled because I used a vise grip to get them out.
Any help or recommendations for better bolts would be greatly appreciated. Especially if it’s something I can buy at my local Home Depot as I’d like to complete this project tomorrow.
