Elites growing weary about the war?

I've often seen it said that towards the later part of the Human-Covenant war, some in Sangheili leadership were growing weary about the war, the toll it was having, and felt that humanity had proved themselves to a degree and were confused about the Prophets being so set on annihilating them. Obviously the events on Alpha Halo and later the Great Schism would've changed such sentiments.

I think I've seen it on Reddit here and on Halopedia a while ago, but I've never seen a source for this - is it in a book somewhere?

I can't tie my shoes

I am 21 years old. I just can't do it, despite trying on and off for 15 years. It's completely ridiculous I know but I don't know what it is I can never get it right, I've tried bunny ears and standard shoelace knot and I always get lost somewhere along the way and it falls apart in my hands.

I'm not like, mentally disabled or anything (not that I know of anyway), I work a normal job and I study fucking engineering but I can't do it. I usually just double knot it and shove the excess laces down into my sneakers. My mom tried teaching me and gave up, I had various teachers in elementary school try to get me to do it and I just never could.

It would be funny if it wasn't so sad at this point.

One of my biggest gripes with the art design/worldbuilding right now

I don't know why they keep changing Panem's seal, especially because the one from the original trilogy fits the vibe of the Capitol so well: it gives off an imperial air of tradition and authority.

This is a national seal; these things don't change very often especially not every like 30ish years and certainly not this drastically. The United States has kept its current seal unmodified for 200 years, other countries even longer. We see in the original trilogy that the Treaty of Treason is wax sealed with the original emblem, so what are these? Branding?

I know the series has always been character driven drama first and much of the details about the world tend to be left to the audience, but diluting the character of the main antagonistic force in the series over and over makes the vibe feel very inconsistent.
