Active grille shutter fail after shop visit

Active grille shutter fail after shop visit

Had to get my pistons replaced. Under warranty which is good but now from the dealership it comes out with a code about the active grille shutters not working and a check engine light is on.

Is this a simple fix? It was working before I dropped the car off to get the engine fixed initially.

Anyone do this themselves?

Need oil change receipt for warranty

Need an oil change receipt for an engine warranty. Missing one and just wondering how deep they dive when you give them a receipt, being from a shop or like autozone (for oil and filter).

Are they going to call and confirm with shop or call and confirm order number with autozone ?

What would diy oil change record even look like?

Gotta get a warranty claim on my car . But did a diy job for one of the past oil changes. Not sure exactly what I supposed to do now. I read that diy oil changes counted ? Any advice? Any did this before?

weld or bolt on custom frame?

thinking about added a custom frame to the car to give it more rigidity and be able to bolt on like a proper exo cage/ roof rack to the frame. that kind thing. is it better to bolt or weld on this kinda thing? what do you guys think?

maybe a weld on part and the a bolt on part. like some kinda combination of the two?

anyone done this before?
