Best hiking app?

Hiya,

I’ve started getting back into hiking after a recent breakup, and was wondering if anyone had any hiking app recommendations? I currently use AllTrails but am finding it takes some weird routes, and isn’t the easiest to use when out and about. Also if this could be a uk based app/ one that works here as well as around the world that would be amazing!

Thank you :)

Would you ever reconsider someone who broke your trust?

My ex and I (24/25) broke up nearly 2 months ago after 5 years together because I broke his trust.

I know most people will probably say once trust is broken it’s done, but I still can’t help wondering if people ever genuinely change after a breakup and if that ever changes how the other person sees them later on.

Since we broke up I’ve changed a lot honestly. I left the whole environment connected to everything that happened, changed jobs, started running, signed up to do a charity hike, and generally just feel healthier mentally than I did before. Not in a “look how amazing I am now” way, more that the breakup forced me to actually confront a lot of things in myself.

About a week after the breakup I wrote him a letter explaining everything honestly, but he basically said he didn’t believe me and couldn’t try again.

We spoke on and off for a couple more weeks after that mostly about logistics, but we’ve now been in complete no contact for 3 weeks.

I still love him a lot, so I guess I’m wondering:
if you ended a long-term relationship because trust was broken, were you fully emotionally done at that point?

Or did you ever still love the person and reconsider things later once time had passed?
