long story short - neighbor was a cat hoarder ("breeder") and got busted. high levels of ammonia, trash to ceiling type of situation. it's been a few weeks and i'm not sure what the township told her she had to do, i'm assuming she was told the house had to be cleaned up because it's not even sanitary/safe enough for her to be there. well, she has outsourced cleaning crews and such, airing out her home. naturally the neighborhood now reaks of cat piss. i knew this was inevitable, regardless if she was removed or not the home obviously has to be dealt with. but the odor is so bad it's seeping into my home! my house is feet away from hers and my exit is closest to her house versus my other neighbor. naturally the entrance to my home now smells the worst. i'll keep cleaning and doing what i can to get it out, but at what point do i call the township and say "hey everything stinks"? is it even worth it? i know, much bigger fish to fry. i'm trying to be patient but omg does the smell of rank ass cat piss irritate me
other than that, is there anything that will literally repel the odor from my home or at least kill the smell inside?
