Super Red Bristlenose

My beautiful little baby Taiya in her new home!

She’s a little weirdo and stuffs her face in the bubbler while she’s trying to latch onto it. She seems to be pretty young still because of her little transparent tummy. I’m hoping as she ages and adapts to her surrounding, she’ll be less stressed and her colour will fill out a bit more.

Injured Bristlenose Pleco

I got home about half an hour ago and saw that my pleco was considerably scraped up. I’m new to pleco care so I’m not sure what to do to help my poor guy. He’s currently in a small Tupperware (will likely get a larger container for him if he needs a hospital tank for his injuries). He lives in a 20ga with a female pleco. She’s peaceful with him and never tries to steal his food or vice versa. I’m thinking he got stuck on a suction cupped decoration we have on the side of the tank. Currently, he’s barely latching onto the container (unsure if that’s because there’s nothing for him to eat) and he’s not eating the pleco wafer I put in for him. I have the lights off in the room he’s in.

His wounds consist of: scraped/shredded fins (especially his back fins) and pinkish white wounds along both sides of his back (next to dorsal fin) and on the right side of his head near his eye.
