I was allotted no sit in the first round(15 June), and allotted dtu mnc in the second(1st July)(it is the only choice in my list because i was very sure i want it). And today(2nd July) i get to know that physical reporting is scheduled for 3rd July 10am-3pm. Which i cannot reach whats so ever because i live in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. Tell me if anything is possible
I don't worry about tech jobs or high payment(because i genuinely like math). But, still is it really a hyped branch. Like are quant roles impossible and companies consider cse or it students over mnc even for financial engineering. And is it true that this real analysis, stochastic processes, calculus stuff useless or even they don't teach it. Internships are very rare and placements forged. And most imp really developing mathematical logic or modeling easier than learning software development. Pls, go through the link provided for more chats
