33NBfA Writing Pals.

I have writing projects I want to work on but I’ve also started really wanting to make friends outside of work and roommates.

I imagine it would be nice to meet up with someone here and there around town(I live in north Austin so preferably in that area) and chit chat for a bit to chill and then when we’re ready lock in and get some writing done. I feel like it would be motivational for me to work alongside someone casually and perhaps developing a friendship alongside.

A sort of pressure free casual hang where we also get work done in a relaxed environment.

I wonder if anybody would be interested in this dynamic?

Could have been a cutscene

Does anybody else absolutely despair when they have to walk through the snowy mountains in DAI after in your hearts shall burn?

I can’t help but disasociate trudging through, it’s so tedious.

I usually smoke in my house but sometimes I find a beautiful spot like this that deserves a special toke. What were your favorite outdoor sessions?

My story is centered on a single pov but nearly equally revolves around a second character.

My question is on the point I should begin the narrative given that the story doesn’t truly begin until the two characters meet, But giving the readers a chance to experience the nature of the pov character prior to the meeting could contextualize the extreme shift the pov character undergoes.

So I have two options in my mind.

Begin the story when character A arrives in city prior to meeting character B to ground the reader in who this character is.

Or (my intuitive compelling) to begin the story in the immediate events leading up to characters A and B meeting since this is the catalyst to the overarching plot.

But potentially losing that chance at a wider understanding of character As motivations.

Anyway. I’m torn. Was wondering what yall think.
