Do ClickUp Agents swing both ways?

AI Agents: I started using these more today and honestly I'm pretty impressed. Here I am over in Claude working hard to train my agents/project with a lot of the same info that is already sitting in CU. Silly me.

But.... Does clickup swing both ways? Can a clickup agent easily use non CU resources? Example: Over in claude I give each agent ( I create one per agency client ) access to it's own folder in Google Drive and it's own local Obsidian folder full of markup files. I know that CU agents have access to Google Drive in general but I don't see a way to point it to a specific folder there.

Mouse or trackpad?

I bought a kickass mouse awhile back. I love it. I think it’s the Logitech 860 or something like that

But now I noticed I’m missing some of the two finger and three fingers functions. May switch back.

So I was just generally curious- are you a mouse or trackpad kind of person? Why ?

What platform do you like?

… for hosting agents. It feels like there are so many out there.

I know about Hermes. I’m leaning more toward Claude’s hosted agents so nothing relies on my laptop or anything in my house.

What company or hosting service do you like for building agents that live and breathe 24/7 ?

Getting zoom attendance info via zapier for multi day

We have an event which is set up as a recurring meeting for two days. I set up a zapier to push back attendance information when someone joins the zoom. So we are getting back attendance and attendance duration. We are zapping this over in the CRM.

How does that work during a multi day event? Is there a way to differentiate between day 1 vs day 2?

Super n00b - where to host ?

Plenty of tech and ai experience in my hip pocket. I just discovered hermes a couple of days ago and now I want to dive in. I assume I need to download and get it up on a server.

Can I use vercel for hosting ? Is there a better recommended host ?

Update : remember I said super n00b. I assumed I’d want this running in a stable reliable machine that didn’t rely on anything in my house. Feel free to tell me why I’m overthinking this.

Need more project financial planning features. How are you doing this?

We need visibility in project budget, cost and profitability tracking and have found a couple that we are considering moving to.

Before I give up all hope I thought I'd ask the smarted group of ClickUp people I know: How are you tracking planned vs actual, resource costs and profitability in ClickUp? (Yes I know I can do custom fields, automations, AI, etc. But I need something that is 90% done out of the box. Teamwork and Productive IO have financial planning features out of the box. Those are our two lead contenders)

Client Folder Structure

Agency owner here. I was asking claude for the best way to structure my client folders/files in Obsidian. It gave some decent ideas but I'm curious what other people have done that has worked well. One thing that I don't like is that it recommends creating a _brief.md in each client folder. The problem with that is when you look at it from the graph view my center "Clients" node links to a bunch of _brief.md files and I don't see client names. So I'm restructuring that now.

Whatcha got? What do I need to do so I'm not restructuring this again in 6 months?

Thanks in advance.

Is there only one database / base?

I'm learning about bases and was hoping I could use this to manage unique lists of items. One for clients, one for products, one for staff, etc. But every time I create a new base it defaults to showing all my notes. So it looks like a copy of a base I already have.

How do I start new empty bases? Or is there really only one database and I need to have a record type property so I can filter our the different types I want to see? Hope this makes sense. Thanks in advance.

Teamwork v wrike v Productive

Looking at something that is more structured out of the box than Clickup.

Teamwork looks great and it's the only one of the 3 to have a dedicated ticketing feature.

Productive looks like it has great budgeting and financial planning features.

Wrike looks to be geekiest of them all with a ton of features and the best Claude integration.

I'd like any pros / cons you have of any of these 3 platforms.

Thanks in advance.
