City/Town Details (Poland)

Hi all, we played a few sessions earlier in the year and are getting back into the game this week. Looking at my notes I see the group are heading to the town of Zloczew (no idea how to pronounce that!) 😅

Besides looking up the cities on Wikipedia or wherever, is there any source material that gives brief descriptions of all the cities and towns all over the map? With no idea of where players will go next it's a little difficult to prepare for what they find...

Just started campaign on Foundry, so far so good!

I bought the PDF rulebooks and my friend bought the Core and Urban Operations modules for his Foundry server and we've run character creation for 3 players and I as the GM made a character with them to see how the system works.

We've played 2 sessions to figure out the rules and system and so far it's been great, the game is so good and I love how stories are emerging. I started them a few hexes away from Skalitz where the troops they were traveling with just engaged with overwhelming Soviet forces. They were sent up the road to find a Polish government building and listen for a radio broadcast from the US army. When they finally got there it was just the "good luck you're on your own" message and they were so shocked, it was such a cool moment... even though a bit rushed as I wanted to finish that encounter before it got too late.

On the journey there I rolled the "overwhelming forces" encounter which they discovered was more troops being sent to attack the US Army forces and also the lone wander who might have infected some of them with typhoid... 😅

We've winged it with some of the rules to keep things moving but gone and looked them up later.

I was trying to find out how assisting an action worked and I knew I had read it somewhere and was sure it was just for each person assisting the person got a +1 but I thought let me ask ai... copilot gives me this long breakdown of how each player makes a roll and this whole complicated process that the ai literally just made up 😂 so probably won't do that again.

Anyway! Great game so far, excited to see where it goes. Little preparation required from me as the GM besides knowing the rules and knowing how to do things in Foundry 👌🏻

Hi all

We've just recently started our first game of Twilight 2000 on Foundry. We've bought the official modules for the Core rules and Urban Operations. Everything worked fine on Foundry v13 but we've updated to Foundry v14 and have encountered an error if you make a roll that has a bonus or penalty (either manual or automatic with a checkbox for speciality or injury) it doesn't do the roll and there's a red exclamation near the bottom of the chat window.

A normal roll with no adjustments works fine as normal.

I've included information from Foundry below and attached image.
