I think we are going to be able to watch this soon… I just want to see this movie so bad! Like I can’t even imagine the hype being as good but this band is so beyond that there is nothing about this movie that is going to be bad!

I saw the butthole surfers live twice… Once they opened for Stone Temple Pilots… (I actively dislike STP… I went for the Surfers), Once I saw them open for the Reverend Horton Heat… oh shit! I’ve seen them three times… because I saw them open for Nirvana… Which was the last Seattle show… Kurt was dead 3 or so months later… Traumatizing! But the Butthole Surfers were being amazing! Gibby lit his keyboards on fire and their pyrotechnics were being Just Wow!… weirdly bobcat goldthwait was the emcee and he was dressed as a pirate??? It was still the most insane show I’ve ever seen!!!

So this song is so awkward and really incredibly amazing!

… the percussion…. This is so good!

My wife was born and raised in a very conservative religious home. I was raised SDA but left as soon as I could… We are not religious at all… but she loves Keith green and has me put it on from time to time… she was driving to California when he died and in the middle of the night when she was about 16 it came on the radio that his plane had crashed and he died. So she likes me to put it on every once and awhile. And I gotta say… it is really good! I’m basically an atheist… agnostic? But Keith green is really good! Musically and emotionally… I’m not interested in his message but I think his music is pretty good… Any opinions? I saw a documentary about him but he didn’t seem any worse than any other rock stars at the time?
