Lymecyline works then acne comes back
Tried everything - all the topical treatments, cutting sugar, processed foods but lymecyline is the only thing that works. Been on lymecycline about 3 times in the last 6 years and it’s the only thing that works, but obviously it’s an antibiotic so I have to keep coming off it, try something else for a few months, all my acne comes back, go back on lymecycline, my acne goes and the cycle repeats.
What else can I do? If lymecycline works then what does that mean the root issue of my acne is and are there any other ways to tackle this?
Feeling Sub-Human
I don’t know how to cope with this feeling anymore of being completely detached from neurotypical humanity. I cannot leave the house without being laughed at or having comments about the way I walk/speak. It’s so incredibly draining and it makes me feel like I’m sort of below humanity and treated like a creature. I have a part time hospitality job and every single time I serve a table I can always see the look on their face, the grins and look of intrigue into my mannerisms it just makes me feel awful.
Do other people relate? How do I accept that I will be laughed at for the rest of my life just for who I am?
Do you get to keep making friends all year?
I’m starting in October and I’m just wondering if the friends you make in Michaelmas become your long term friends, or do you keep meeting new people all year, and the following two years, and make more and more new friends?
Would be interested to hear about how it’s been for people in terms of friendships and whether your circle has ended up changing.
Early Arrival
I’m an incoming fresher and I don’t want to wait until the 3rd of October to move in. Can I just ask to move in early eg 20th September and just pay the added cost?
Starting HSPS - paper details
I’m starting HSPS in October and wanting to prepare for some of the content but can’t find any specifics online. What does POL1 / SOC 1 / SAN consist of? What are the modules within it? Any books i should read to get ahead?
