(New) The Strokes fan

Of course I knew who The Strokes were for decades but somehow never really got into them.

Real fans may hate this, but the new album has be hooked, now exploring their entire catalog. I can’t even imagine how OG fans feel about the new album given how different it is and the abuse of autotune on it.

When I first heard Falling out of Love I wanted to hate it and move on…. But now I think I’ve played the album at least a dozen times.

Anyway, seeing them live soon and I’m excited.

Waterfalls and swimming holes with 5 year old

Will be visiting in the coming weeks and looking for some suitable waterfalls and swimming holes for young kids, ideally close to the city.

I’ve seen mentions of Rainbow Lake and Suck Creek (funny name, lol) but would love to hear about any other recommendations.

Thanks in advance!

Online Spanish lessons for 5 year old.

We are an English / Spanish household and though my 5 year old understands 90%+ of Spanish, he’s not speaking it.

I blame myself a lot but still feel like it’s early enough that we can get him fluent.

I’ve been in US for the majority of my life so speaking Spanish is now not as natural in my day to day.

Would love to hear recommendations and experience using online 1:1 classes, I’m in a pretty rural area and there’s no option for in person.

Gracias!

Post World Cup impact

Can we expect better attendance after the World Cup? Many folks are falling in love with the sport and the culture, will they look to ATL UTD for a piece of that? Will the hype be over as soon as the WC ends?

Just here for the discussion, what do you think the impact post World Cup will be?
