How do I stop cutting off people who have wronged me?

So today has been a really rough day with getting into an argument with my sister which resulted in me blocking her because she was yelling at me and blaming me for something i didnt do. Then i wanted to tell the guy i was dating about what happened then he just laughed at my problem and said when am i going to unblock her. I told him she does this to me often and im tired of it, but he still didnt take my problem seriously. We ended up having an argument about that which i decided to hang up and now i have the feeling of not wanting to be with him.

My question is, how can i stop the urge of constantly cutting off people when they have wronged me in some way? I love being alone, and so being alone feels peaceful rather than dealing with people but then i dont want to have no relationships in the future either. Any advice would be helpful.

Is getting the PPSC worth it?

Im a new MSW student and im wondering if i should get the ppsc for my second year in the program. I'm just wondering if its worth it to get in southern California? I dont know how many jobs require a ppsc as i was looking online and i didnt see that many school social work jobs. Instead of getting my ppsc for my second year, i could also focus training to get a hospital or clinical internship which could help me find a job in the future. Those who got their ppsc, do you use it? is it easy to find work? or do you wish you could have tried hospital or clinical social work internship instead?

How can i get a paid internship while getting my MSW?

Hi i'm starting my MSW program in 3 weeks and have already been placed at an unpaid internship but I really need the money to cover my tuition and living expenses for next year. Has anyone ever had or gotten a paid internship for their MSW program either through their school or found one on their own? And if so, what was the process like to find a paid internship?

How to make Friends and Mentors in MSW Grad Program?

I'm starting my first year of graduate school next month after not being in school for 4 years now and I really want to make the most of my 2 years in the MSW program. I have always been shy and quiet in school and I really want to try making friends with my cohort and maybe find a mentor in school. My question is, as a person who is naturally shy, what are some ways I can try to make friends with my classmates and how can I establish a mentor relationship with my professors? Any advice or tips involving graduate school are welcomed :)

Hi, I have to turn in my resume for school in order for internship agencies to view it and pick the students they want to intern for them. Here is a rough draft of my resume and I need some help cutting out unimportant information and adding information only relevant to social work so that it is only 1 page long and to attract social work internship agencies. I would love to do my internship in mental health clinic doing therapy, or at a school, or at a hospital. If anyone can help improve my resume to help me stand out to different agencies and make it fit 1 page that would be amazing!
