Delete if discussion posts aren't allowed. But I have kind of been looking up stuff for the game here and there, and want the game to be good and for it to be well received even if I don't get it. How has it been flying the planes and the multiplayer experience? As an outsider looking in who doesn't really know plane history, these two concerns pop up.

1. Nobody plays the DPRK/USSR side because it seems like the UN side's planes are either better, or when you look at the roster altogether, their seems more well-rounded.

2. When people fly the Red side, no one wants to use the Il-10, Yak-9, and La-11. What are they supposed to do against non-F51 enemies? Just bend over and take what the jets have to impose on them? And can the Yak-9 and La-11 even do any ground attack missions or go for objectives even if pilots are willing?

Obviously this comes from a place of ignorance but am curious about the game and how the reception has been for it these days.

I really like what Red's Team is in HGSS, specifically the spirit behind it of using in-game event mon's in Yellow. If you had to use a team of in-game event Pokemon for an HGSS run, what would you use? I am realizing there are even more Pokemon that you could use for such a team in HGSS than you could if you were playing Yellow. If you were going to use the Eevee Bill gives you, what would you evolve it to?

I've thought about getting into flight sims since I have a joystick (for some reason? I don't remember the product) and really enjoy watching other people play it. I have been messing around with Google AI (despite its shortcomings, but I use it for info where it it's not detrimental to me if it's wrong) and apparently people think Battle of Stalingrad is the best first expansion. When answering this, pretend my goal is to have the least amount of frustration with learning the game, controls, and any features of the game. Within whichever expansion, which allegiance's planes are easier to learn?
