Full gear for a 7 day hike in foothills. Impressed how much fits in 26l pack

Had to ditch the big towel for a small one, also ditched the headlamp and some food. There should be places to eat and resupply on every day of the trip so I'm really only carrying food for one day in case of emergencys/slow days/what not.

Edit: Super happy about critique/feedback

Final weigh in at 16,5lbs not including 4,5lbs water weight of the full bladder.

Seize the Night by Will Varley re-upload?

It's in my most played ever playlist bit I listening to it it feels like an acoustic version of the sing I know. Am I confusing something or did he re record some of his old songs for copywrite reasons or something?

Hikers with bad hearing, should I bring my hearing aid?

Im going in a 7 day hike in a couple of days and the one question I haven't answered yet is *Do I take my hearing aids?* Here's my pro and con list in order of severity:

Pro:

-Hold a conversation while walking if I meet cool people

(The trail is pretty empty but who knows)

-Listen to music

-Order in restaurants, hotels etc without having to ask for clarification 3 times

-comply with requests by staff/other hikers (people get really rude when they think you ignore their request to make way)

-Make phone calls (there's an app for emergency lines but it's not always taken serious by the operator)

Con:

-Extra stuff (Case, cleaning spray, wipes, Charger, etc. About 100g 0.7l)

-I don't particularly enjoy wearing them in nature, makes things sound weird

-might lose or damage them (10.000$ for a replacement, no proper insurance available)

It pretty much comes down to I should for safety but I don't wanna and I scared I'll damage them. So from the people who are HOH, do I really need them?

Was called out today to take down several SAW traps/ former bushcraft camps. Council is thinking about much stricter regulations. Theres a place for nails but not in the forest.
