SL7 interior scruffing

Have had a new SL7 for about a week now. When I picked it up it had a dent on one of the doors, dealer fixed it up mostly, but because of that I was concentrating on that and did miss checking the interior more closely.

This is my first new car in a long time, do interior plastics and trims nowadays not stand up to scruffing/scratching as much as older cars used to?

I'm super careful, but already noticing small scruffs on the inside of the door and sill plastics. I can't see this lasting as long as my last car (17 years) without the interior getting absolutely wrecked just from regular day to day use.

Before this, I'd never even realised there was a whole market dedicated to kick mats and interior protection films!

Otherwise loving all the tech in it and enjoy driving it, just worried about the longevity of it now…

Amenity kit

To the fellow in row 4 that took the amenity bag when you walked past my seat as we were boarding, I was right behind you.

When the cabin crew came around with a spare for me and asked if I knew who it was, yes I told them it was you.

Has this happened to anyone else?
