Sadly the diorama base is too big for any of my cases. I'll have to display him like this until my new display case comes in a couple of months. What a great figure, nice and heavy and beautifully painted. Kaustic Plastic knocked it out the park with this one. I have the sideshow one on pre-order but I will be canceling.
Finally watched the series and I enjoyed them immensely but I can't help wondering why would anyone join a club of assassins simply to be killed by the members of the club. None of these assassins assassinate anyone except each other. All of the rules are there to protect each other from each other which you wouldn't need if you never join the club in the first place. And why do so many voluntarily get themselves killed by John Wick when they know that their chances of killing him are slim to none especially If all the stories about him are watered down at best. Nobody runs the other way instead they leap head first towards death. High table seems to exist for no other reason than to have these assassins killed unless they do some sort of song and dance routine for them... But hey at least I get to stay in a nice fancy hotel when they're in town I guess.
This was my solution, anyone got any better ideas?
For those of us who ordered the Rick and Negan bundle, should we not expect our Negan before Rick is released?
Last September I saw InArt's Paula Atreides action figure and my mind was blown by how real a toy could look. It's been a year now since I bought that first figure and what fun it's been. Here are photos on my collection thus far minus a prototype Boba Fett that I have stored in the Attic somewhere. Can't wait to see what the future has to offer.
Finally my pre-order from specfiction has been delivered but it was worth the wait.
Now I have to get my hands on a Gandalf but I'm sure they will come out with Gandalf the White soon enough.
Received my Chewy today from a recent waitlist conversion making him the second Star wars figure in my collection...and just in time for Han! I've got several figures coming in all of a sudden so I'm not going to get the personal time with him to take decent pictures but I'll get around to it eventually.
I was lucky enough to get the deluxe version of this guy for not that much above retail a few days ago. What a welcome addition to the collection.
My only complaint is the ankle articulation could be better on the Arkham Knight but these things have definitely come a long way since the 80s GI Joes that I'm used to.
Finally got someone to fight my Batman ๐. Having a ball posing these two, glad I decided to dip into 1/12 scale.
I only own four 1/12 scale figures (I'm mostly a 1/6 guy) but I think I feel a new addiction coming on after playing around with Catwoman. I have The Dark Knight, Arkham Origins Batman and LPZZ Arkham Knight as well and all of them pose like a dream...but there's something about Catwoman that I can't quite put my finger on.
I absolutely love it! Just walking by and had to take a pic.
I ordered an Inart Aragorn 2 weeks ago and it still hasn't shipped. Is that par for the course for them? How long does it normally take them to ship?
I've gotten a new display and a couple of new figures since I last posted. Did a bit of reposing too.
Finally got around to reposing him after having him standing in the typical dangerous tour hero stance with the shades. Was afraid I wouldn't be able to make him look natural with such a blank expression on his face but I think this pose does the job. Thought I was going to have to display him with his shades forever ๐ it's a shame that one of the most expressive persons to walk the planet only comes with one expression.
I absolutely love it, and what a dream to pose! All cloth clothing and no small parts to break off or be mindful of, ๐๐
Finally received Snape today after ordering him what seems like forever ago. Broke my "only three figures to a shelf" rule already at least until I get another display case that is. ๐ All my Harry Potter figures are in a temporary pose until I can dream up something better.
Time for a new display. More than 3 figures per shelf begins to look like storage in my mind.
