Basically my flat has kind of flooded. It was from next door and it’s leaked in. Overnight it managed to get to the only carpet in the flat (my bedroom) and it’s absolutely soaked. Like you step on it and it splashes.

What’s the best way to clean this up? It’s not on all of it probably a meter by half a meter. Just a long strip. I’m not bothered about making it look nice, I absolutely hate it but I don’t want to deal with mould before I have the chance to rip it up and replace.

I have a small Bissell but I can’t currently use it as there’s no power or water in the building. Everything else has been completely cleared up, it’s literally just this strip of carpet

I absolutely hate protein shakes, I cannot stand them. I hate the chalky texture and the fake flavourings. I have been trying various different ones before I have surgery to try and find one I like and I can’t. The only ones I like so far are the MyProtein clear whey ones. It’s more like juice/ squash and it’s much nicer.

My question is, can I keep this substitute as my dietitian was really pressing having milk post surgery. I will absolutely stick to milk and regular protein shakes post surgery if needed. Especially right after but I would really appreciate having something I enjoy more. Calorie and protein content wise it’s lower in calories and about the same in protein (20g of protein for a 25g serving size and 89 cals)

I can only really see the milk being beneficial for things like b12 and vitamin D but I already take the recommended multivitamin for post surgery. I know this is an absurd question but it’s genuinely stressing me out thinking about needing to have regular protein shakes for so long
