Last seen Sunday 5/17/2026 on Vashon Island with Mike Bloomer. (He says he has not seen her since.) Melanie was supposed to go to her mom's house and never showed up. She apparently stopped at a bar and charged her phone, as someone called Monday and the bar picked up, but they didnt get the bar name and now the phone is dead.

my cat has been sick this week (we have been to the vet and are following instructions while waiting to hear back on bloodwork) and for the first time in 14 years is very occasionally pooping (diarrhea-adjacent) outside of the litter box, on a pile of blankets & flannel sheets i keep for her on the floor. i’m manually removing as much as i can, but what’s the protocol for proper cleaning/sanitization?
