am i the only one who think Dark Places by Gillian Flynn is painfully slow and boring?

to be fair i am only on the third chapter, like dead in the middle. but for the life of me i can’t seem to read with much enthusiasm. i just want to know if i am the only one who finds this book uninteresting. at least the first part of the book.

i genuinely would like to finish reading, but every time i start to read a page my head hurts. please tell me it gets better or worth a read.

zz plant tips?

firstly, i apologize for the weird angle.

i have this zz plant for couple months now. haven’t seen any new growths as yet, but i noticed that the leaves are starting to look a bit pale. when i first got it, it had a deeper moss green color, now it’s kinda lime green

i have it in a shady corner next to my book shelf

just wanted to show off my mom’s exploding zebra-striped earth star 🦓🪴

this is my mom’s zebra-stripped earth star. we bought the plant couple months aback in said pot, but at the time it was one plant, there’s currently six.

the biggest one is a mature pup that had detached from the mother plant, which we initially placed in the same pot just to root, but is now producing two pups while the mother is also producing two pups.

i want to take it out of this ugly pot soon, but i am truly amazed at how this plant is multiplying. this is my first time owning one of these plants.
