Can you get addicted from smoking cigarettes for two weeks?

And can you get nicotine withdrawal if you stop after those two weeks? Or is it too short amount of time? If yes, what are the symptoms?

Help with not catching the thread

Hi I had been using this machine for a few weeks now. And everything was peachy. But a few days ago I was looking for a light (which is broken) so I unscrewed the top and then screwed it back on. I don't think I touched anything, but now my machine doesn't want to sew. Its working when I'm doing it by hand, but when I use the pedal, the thread on the bobbin doesn't catch the needle. I was just on the straight A. Then I changed the needle to 80 and it worked. I didn't really explore much because I wanted to check if B works and what you see in the photo when it's 'worked' it was because I made brakes with the pedal, meaning I pressed, then not, pressed, then stopped. That's why it worked. What can I do? I played a little with the settings on B and it's just like that with every setting.

Sorry for grammar mistakes.
