About 1 hour and 30 min of trying

I found this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/finalfantasyx/s/DR9OEPwtNs and copied the stated method. I know it’s random luck too, so I probably just got lucky.

1st area to the right of save sphere (2 chests): open right first, then left
2nd area to the left of save sphere (3 chests): open left to right
3rd area northwest of 2nd area (3 chests): open right to left
4th area by Al Bhed Primer (4 chests): open bottom left first then rest clockwise

I got 9 chests open on about my 4th try, then 0 to 3 chests for a while. I noticed after maybe my 35th try, I could consistently get anywhere from 3 to 7 open. I think on my 50th try, I got all 12.

If I end up failing my capstone class, can I still walk?

Long story short I did not manage my time well this semester due to working a demanding full-time job and taking full-time classes. I should pass all my classes except maybe one.

I kinda had a beast of a class for my capstone course (MGMT 425) and the final paper is intense. I started on it a while ago but didn’t get it near the point I should have before last week. It’s due tonight and I’m still only halfway done because it is a massive paper (at the very least it’s going to take 60 pages to cover everything).

I have a low B right now but I don’t think I did that well on the final and I might fail this paper depending on how much I can get done.

This is my fourth playthrough and the furthest I’ve ever gone in terms of acquiring celestial weapons. I’ve gotten and powered up everyone’s weapons except Wakka’s since it’s blitzball related.

I’ll be honest, I do not like blitzball. I made a point to go through the tutorial thoroughly this time around and ended up having to look on YouTube to cheese some of the game mechanics to barely win in Luca initially.

Like the stats and game mechanics make sense to a certain point but some of the randomized luck throws me off and I feel like I’m always playing completely blind with no real strategy.

Any tips on making the best blitzball team and getting through this? The chocobo training and lightning dodge mini games used to be the bane of my FFX existence but I breezed through both this time. Hoping blitzball won’t be as bad as I’m thinking it’s going to be 😅

I left my job a couple weeks ago after three years of managing the HR functions for a small company. Towards the end I was severely burnt out working full-time and going to school full-time. I wanted a clean break to finish my last semester of school properly... I was also just very unhappy with my role and the company for quite some time. I had maxed out my growth and pay there, which was on the lower end for the area, my duties, and the amount of effort I put in to build that role up.

I had a bit of hubris thinking I could leave before securing another job, i.e. finding another one before/by graduation. I don’t have to pay rent, so that was a factor too (I have about 3-4 months of cushion for bills if need be).

However, now I’ve been panicking because the job market isn’t great and it’s very competitive. I knew this going into this decision, but again, hubris. I had one interview last week for a HR position that I’m definitely qualified for, but I know that they also interviewed about 18 people. They specifically recruited at my school for a job that would start after graduation. I also like the company/role too and there’s a lot of opportunity for advancement, but I’m not sure how I stack up against the other applicants.

I’ve been applying to other jobs in the meantime and just getting rejected based on my applications. Right now, my eggs are all in one basket with this job I interviewed for and I’m keeping an eye out and applying to other roles where I can. Trying hard to keep putting myself out there and stay hopeful, but now I’m really regretting my decision about leaving my role before I found another job. Ugh.

Worst case scenario I do have a side gig of dog walking/pet sitting that I’ve kept up for over 15 years now and I’m still in touch with my previous clients. For a small amount of cash flow before shit hits the fan. Also thinking about “upskilling” and doing some certifications/ free or low cost classes I can put on my resume.
