quitting today

i am quitting afrin cold turkey after ~3 years of using it. i haven't used it since about 1 pm and its currently 9 pm. i am LOSING MY MIND. i would use give or take 10 sprays a DAY. this is the hardest thing ever but i am so tired of getting headaches every day from it, and being reliant on it.

i have currently used one tip i saw on tiktok to spray a q tip with a bit of it and swab some in your nostrils. i only did my right nostril, and it helped i guess.

im just so scared of tomorrow. any advice is appreciated!!

please help 🚨

im 19M and my mom 62F is addicted to scambaiting. at first it was a silly joke and she'd show me what she was doing and stuff and it was nothing.. but that was a year ago. she is addicted to it. she bought a whole phone just for scambaiting and she pretends to be a young woman and has a whole "life" on there and posts photos of her and her "family" and "vacation photos." instagram, zingi, facebook. all of it.

she ignores my sick dad and i and is just glued to her scam phone and is so defensive of it. she doesn't let anyone see what she's doing on there anymore, and she calls the scammers "her guys." i don't know what to do. i have thought about just smashing her scam phone but i know she'd go batshit crazy and destroy all of my belongings. i'm just so tired of having to fight for her attention at home. i try to hug my own mom and she's too busy texting scammers. my dad is very sick and she just ignores him because she's too busy with "her guys." please help, i want my mom back.

advice about height

hey everyone. sorry, i'm sure you've seen this question a lot but it's just on my mind a lot. i am 19M and i am 5'5. i have a deep voice, decent features, facial hair, etc... however, i am so short.

i feel so small (literally) compared to other guys my age. i dont know how ill get a girlfriend if i'm shorter than her. it's so humiliating to even walk in public. i asked r/teenagers a few months ago and they said i was a lost cause. has anyone tried any supplements or stretches or legit anything and had good results? any way i can improve myself here? i am desperate. thanks!!

hot bar cheat sheet

i am curious if anyone has a photo of a simple hot bar cheat sheet? like a small piece of paper that has the shots and syrup pumps for the correlating sizes?

i am training a new barista and i would love to recreate it. i think having this for my trainee would be super beneficial! please leave any other suggestions that might help the progress on hot bar. thanks!

"nobody's ever asked me that"

i do not CAAREEEE that nobody's asked you that before. i just DID.

the other day i had a customer who ordered a mocha with raspberry syrup and i asked her if she wanted to do 3 and 3. she was like "what's that?" and i replied "oh just 3 pumps raspberry and 3 mocha" and instead of an actual answer she scoffs and said "well nobody's ever asked me that before..." like BRO JUST ANSWER.

what's positive at Starbucks?

this subreddit is so negative. what's some great experiences that you as a customer, or barista+++ have had?

yes the job is hard but there are so many wonderful people and things that come out of it.

i had a few customers last week who were coughing their heads off in the drive thru and they all ordered.. you guessed it, "medicine balls."

they coughed all over at me in the drive thru and guess who's sick and dying all weekend? ME.

i just wish people had more common decency.
