I’m applying for a German student visa and I’m currently deciding between submitting my application through VFS Bengaluru or VFS Chennai.

For those who have recently applied for a German student visa through either center:

• Which one processed your application faster?
• How long did it take from VFS submission/appointment to receiving your passport?
• Did you notice any significant difference in processing times between Bengaluru and Chennai?
• If you had the choice between both, which one would you recommend?

I’m mainly looking for recent 2026 experiences, as processing times may have changed.

I applied for the MSc Computer Science at TU Dresden for Winter Semester 2026/27 through uni-assist, and I’m still waiting for my admission decision.

Has anyone else received their admission/rejection recently? Any updates??

• When your application was forwarded by uni-assist
• When you received your decision
• Whether it was an admission or rejection
• Whether your SELMA status changed before you received the decision

I’m especially interested in hearing from applicants whose applications were forwarded around May - June 2026.
